2023 All-new Honda Civic Type R
Honda Civic Type R has made it first public appearance in the recent Tokyo Auto Salon. Tipped to be one of the best performing Civic Type R in history, the new one looks more conservative and mature then its previous generation the FK8 R.
For now, it’s clear that it will get model-specific bumpers and side skirts, as well as the customary rear wing and reworked triple-pipe exhaust system. It isn’t clear what drive-train mods are planned for the Honda Civic Type R but expect a version of the outgoing model’s 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 to be nestled under the hood, possibly with more than the present 306 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. A 6-speed manual and front-wheel drive will likely be standard.
