2022 New Honda Integra In China Is The…

Honda-badged sedan for China based on the Civic.

North American first received their Acura Integra in 2006 but before that it was badge as the RSX. In China, Honda has already revealed the new Integra but before we get overly too excited, it is a completely different model that was developed in the US right now.

The China’s new integra is simply a restyled Honda Civic Sedan. Manufactuered by Guanqi Honda in Guangzhou, the 2022 Honda Integra (CDM) shares the same plateform as the Civic Sedan and will come in some wild colours. New Fresh Emerald Blue and Fiery Yellow exterior colors further distinguish it from the standard Civic Sedan

At the front, China’s Integra sports slimmer adaptive matrix LED headlights that merge into a larger honeycomb grille. The changes continue at the back, where Honda has fitted L-shaped LED taillights, a subtle trunk lid spoiler, dual exhaust tips, and a faux diffuser. These subtle tweaks make the Integra look sleeker than its Civic Sedan sibling.

No photos have been revealed of the cabin, but it makes sense for the Integra to share the same interior as the Civic Sedan, which incorporates a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 9-inch touchscreen. We’re not sure if all the Civic Sedan’s engine options will carry over.

Although no technical details have been released, the “Turbo” badge on the rear suggests the Integra packs the same 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbo engine as the Civic rated at 180 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque, with power sent to the front wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox. Sales for the 2022 Honda Integra will start Q4, 2021, but no pricing details have been released.
