Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) is pleased to introduce the new Tiguan Allspace Life, the latest SUV to join its line-up. Retailing at RM172,990, it completes the introduction of the
Tiguan Allspace trio in Malaysia.

As the entry-level model of the series, the Life is packed with the right features to make it a modern SUV. Its virtues as a space giant remain unchanged, with seven-seat configurations that offer up to 1,775 litre of class-leading boot space.

Visually, the Life shares the same sharp and dynamic look as its siblings, including a sleeker front grille with the signature Volkswagen illuminated light strip between full LED headlamps. Other elements include the ‘Allspace’ trims, silver-painted side mirrors, ‘Tiguan’ lettering on the rear, and 18” Frankfurt alloy wheels.

Expect the interior of the Life to be as cosy and functional as any other Volkswagen. Among the standard equipment available are the 9.2” Discover Pro infotainment system with wireless app connect, navigation system, and voice-control; 3-zone Climatronic air con; and a leather multifunction sports steering wheel.

The Life is powered by a 1.4TSI turbocharged engine that is paired with 6-speed DSG to produce 150PS and 250Nm of torque. This combination ensures a pleasurable driving experience whilst providing an efficient fuel consumption of approximately 7.7l/100km.

Safety

Safety is prioritised with six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Brake Assist (BA), Multi-collision brakes, Intelligent Crash Response System (ICRS), and Electronic Parking Brake (EPB). Lane Assist and Driver Alert systems are available as well.

LED lighting

Both headlamps and taillights are fully powered by LED. For added safety in any climate conditions, the headlamps include an all-weather light system and dynamic cornering light for improved visibility. The taillight cluster with a distinctive lighting signature puts on a dazzling show (Click-clack effect) when brakes are applied.

Colours

It is available in five colours and two finishes. Metallic colours are Atlantic Blue, Platinum Grey, and Pyrite Silver; whilst pearl-effect colours are Deep Black and Oryx White. Pearl-effect colours are available without any additional surcharge.

Price

The new Tiguan Allspace Life is priced at RM172,990 (RRP), and comes with three years free maintenance, five years unlimited mileage warranty, and five years roadside assistance.
